Topolobampo

Topolobampo
Topolobampo is a beautiful seaport located 20 km. from Los Mochis in the State of Sinaloa, Mexico. Topolobampo bay has wonderful landscapes with an unforgettable view.
Attractions
A large shrimping fleet is stationed here and the deep harbor is ideal for commercial fishing. Although these industries are significant, they pale by comparison to the region's most important attraction, the spectacular Copper Canyon. This scenic chasm is four times the size of the Grand Canyon, sculpted by the on-going process of erosion, 60 million years into its seemingly immortal lifespan. The Canyon's world-renown train ride covers the entire spectrum of terrain with 39 bridges and 87 tunnels, ending at an elevation of 8,000 feet above the sparkling Sea of Cortez.Currency
Mexico's currency is the peso (MXN). The $ sign is used to refer to pesos, so don't be shocked at the price tags. Any prices in U.S. dollars are listed as US$ or USD. Many hotels, restaurants and shops also accept major credit cards, which usually offer you a good exchange rate.Weather Forecast
